Programming With
BASIC-256

Article in the "Communications of the ACM" in April 2002. Mark Guzdial and Elliot Soloway discuss ideas of how to teach the multimedia generation of children how to program.

Their work was with college freshmen, teaching multimedia early in the programming curriculum. They found that the students will learn and want to learn programming when they can make new media. Their strategy was embraced in the creation of this project.
